Wind's Corporate Social Responsibility
Wind’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) springs from the consideration that the quest for profit must not clash with the pursuit of social and environmental goals. Wind interprets social responsibility as more than just meeting its legal obligations, investing more in human capital, in the environment and in relations with stakeholders (customers, human resources, shareholders, lenders, suppliers, non-profit associations and institutions, that is all the Company’s internal and external stakeholders).Wind is strongly committed to implementing initiatives aimed at the progressive and widespread diffusion of a culture of corporate responsibility throughout the Company. This takes the form of various awareness and training projects involving everyone, with the goal of promoting a cultural change and a new approach, which also extends to operational and management training.
Finally, Wind considers ongoing stakeholder engagement by means of debates, special meetings, internal communication and corporate TV to be of primary importance.
Wind is currently engaged in maintaining its SA 8000 ethical certification within the broader context of its Integrated System, thereby confirming the Company’s commitment to environmental issues, to the health and safety of workers and to respect for the rights of our employees.
